Arts & Crafts Pendant Necklace*
Very nicely made English Arts & Crafts silver pendant necklace with an openwork design of heart-shaped leaves, their elegantly curving stems forming the outer edge.
Set in the centre is a large faceted oval glass stone in a shade of pale blue that at first glance looks very similar to an aquamarine. This is framed by a rope-patterned border surrounding the setting.
Another similarly coloured smaller stone is set in upright fashion below.
The main pendant is suspended on two short lengths of chain, each with a tiny flower halfway along, connecting to a suspender fashioned into a further pair of intertwining leaves.
The attached necklace chain shows the same detail of two matching tiny flowers after a couple of links before continuing in plainer fashion up to its hand-made toggle type fastener.
A good size at just a fraction below 5.5 cm wide with a length of 9 cm from the top of the suspender. The necklace chain measures approximately 40 cm.
