Shaped and carved oval wooden casket embellished with polished brass detail and a painted picture of an exotic bird on the lid.
Standing on four ball shaped brass feet and with a little hinged latch to secure the lid in place.
The sides are divided into four separate panels which are decorated with stems, flowers and leaves.
Both the interior and the underside of the lid are lined with a black velvet type material.
