Limoges Silver & Enamel Flower Posy*
Circular silver brooch with an openwork design containing a square central section enamelled with a colourful posy of wild flowers.
Signed on the back of the enamel by the Limoges artist Arnaud and with the pin fastened by a fine old barrel clip.
There is a mark on the back of the silver which looks to be AXL but we are unable to ascertain if this is a maker’s mark. The diameter is 5 cm.
Dating from the early 1900’s.
