Liberty Gold, Turquoise & Pearl Necklace
Necklace in 9 ct. gold with seven matching openwork plaques set with turquoise cabochons, each separated by short lengths of chain and splendid baroque pearls.
Longer lengths of chain a little below loop down elegantly between each separate section.
Made for Liberty’s in the very early 1900’s, the design undoubtedly influenced by the work of Archibald Knox.
Unmarked other than for 9 ct. which can be seen stamped on the barrel type clasp.
The plaques are all the same size at just the merest fraction over 2 cm in length. The length beween the two outside pearls is approximately 24 cm and the total length of the necklace is 45 cm.
