Pendant from James Fenton
Art Nouveau silver and enamel pendant from James Fenton with a Birmingham hallmark for the year 1909.
The design shows a shaped outline and a swirling whiplash silver detail enclosing areas of enamel in sky blue and midnight blue shading to blackcurrant, all with that distinctive and typically Fenton ‘bobbled’ look.
The drop below is in a similar shade of sky blue, ad balances the pendant perfectly.
With the J.F maker’s mark on the back , beneath the hallmark, and measuring 5 cm in length including the oval bale.
The necklace chain is 46 cm long.
