A lovely unsigned gilt-bronze Art Deco figure of a young dancer. She's naked apart from a garland of flowers in her hair and is holding aloft a thyrsus as she dances.
Plenty of movement here, with her poised on one foot and her hair swinging to one side. This is a figure that displays impressively from all angles.
Dating from around 1920, it's is a good size piece standing just under 50 cm tall on its conical, ribbed onyx base. A good Deco bronze in excellent condition, just showing a few minor surface marks due to its age.
