Gold Pendant with Opals and Rubies
Eye-catching pendant in 9 ct. gold with a circular outline broken by little rubies at regular intervale all around.
In the centre is a stylised flower, its six petals being set with well coloured opals and with another ruby in the centre.
The pendant, which is marked for 9 ct. on the back, is on an ornate fancy link 9 ct. gold chain which suits it perfectly.
Late Victorian or perhaps Edwardian, dating from the early 1900’s.
The length, including the bale, is 3 cm and the chain is approximately 46 cm long.
