German Jugendstil Ring with Draped Maiden
Jugendstil silver ring made in Germany around 1900 featuring a seductive semi-clad long haired maiden.
With one arm raised above her head and just about holding on to the edge of a flimsy drape with the other, she’s framed on each side with a design of leaves and fruits.
The shoulders of the ring sport a spreading elegant design detail and the whole effect is full of impact.
A little loss of definition on the girl’s face, as to be expected after so many years, but otherwise in excellent condition.
The UK size is K.
