French Art Nouveau Maiden’s Portrait Pendant*
Very beautiful French Art Nouveau pendant crafted in 18 ct. gold, featuring the face of a young maiden below and ahead of a plique-à-jour enamelled lily pond, further detailed with enamelled lily flowers and leaves.
Her windswept long tresses cascade downwards and out to the sides, rising to form the outer frame of the pendant and meeting at the top at the point where the bale is attached.
Finished at the foot with a natural pearl drop with a small diamond set immediately above.
The pendant may also be worn as a brooch at any time, having a removable pin attached to the back.
The width is 4.25 cm and the length including the bale is just a touch over 5 cm.
Simply marked Déposé on the back and on a distinctive 18 ct. gold chain measuring 48 cm.
