Festoon Necklace from Marius Hammer*
Item Description
Elegant festoon necklace from the workshop of Marius Hammer (1847-1927) dating from around 1900-1910.
Crafted in silver gilt with vivid green enamelling detail, and a series of teardrop shaped drops suspended below the intricate chainwork together with three little stylised laurel wreaths, each with a central shaped and gilded dangler in its centre.
Showing the Marius Hammer maker’s mark on the reverse and with its original barrel type clasp.
The necklace measures approximately 40 cm long.
