Arts & Crafts Pendant from one of the Guilds*
Arts & Crafts silver pendant with a square outline featuring a leafy design, set with amethyst cabochons of varying size.
The heart-shaped leaves all graduate from the centre, pointing outwards with the tips of four of them forming the corners.
Suspended from a rope-patterned silver bale and with a teardrop shaped amethyst set inthe drop below.
Marked on the back with the initials AAGH in a diamond. This would appear to signify one of the handicraft guilds that were formed in the late 1880’s but unfortunately we are unable to identify exactly which one.
The length from the top of the bale to the bottom of the drop is 6 cm and the necklace chain is approximately 46 cm long.
