Festoon Brooch by Marius Hammer
Pretty Art Nouveau silver and blue enamelled festoon brooch from Marius Hammer.
Designed as an openwork wing-shaped bow from which is suspended an open enamelled oval on two short chains. Half a dozen small pear-shaped drops cleverly add a further lightness of look.
Marked on the back with the Marius Hammer maker’s mark and the silver content of 930. Made around 1905-1910.
There is a small area showing slight imperfection or wear to the enamel on the right-hand side of the oval as can be seen in our photos.
The length is around 6.5 cm.
