Elegant Deco Lady from Goldscheider*
Wonderfully elegant figurine titled “Yvette”, designed by Claire Weiss and manufactured by Goldscheider around 1937-38.
The beautiful, smiling and barefoot young lady is wearing a light grey pinafore dress with a claret coloured border and floral décor which swirls around her as she moves forward. The rose coloured shawl she is holding completes her ensemble.
With a height of just over 34 cm this figure is in excellent condition, is fully marked on the base and numbered 8205/1/27. There is an old professional and invisible restoration to the lady’s left hand and part of the shawl.
