Elegant Dancing Couple
Item Description
Exquisite early Goldscheider ceramic dancing couple, the lady and gentleman both looking very elegant as they glide around the floor, surely dancing to a waltz. Their graceful movement has been beautifully captured. Lovely detail to the faces and clothes and the pastel colours used help to accentuate the elegance of this fine sculpture.
Dating from 1903-05 and bearing the signature of the artist E. Tell who produced several fine pieces for Goldscheider.
Marked with the model no. 2711 and an impressive 41 cm high. This figurine is also exhibited in the Vienna Museum.
