Eggs for Breakfast WMF Style
Item Description
Great little silver-plated double egg cup set comprising tray with wicker wrapped handle, holding two egg cups, two spoons and a glass salt holder.
Marketed at the time as an egg and salt stand, this is a neat and clever design from WMF – there is even a little thumb plate on the handle for comfortable carrying.
The tray and both egg cups are clearly marked, but not the spoons which therefore may not be original, although they fit the holders very well.
Circa 1910 and just under 12 cm wide by approximately 10.5 cm deep.
