Silver & Faux Turquoise Earrings by Bernard Instone*

Item Description

A fine pair of silver earrings, unmarked but firmly attributed to Bernard Instone.

Dating from the late 1920’s to early 30’s, this faux turquoise enamel was extensively used by Instone on many of his designs. However, this is the first time we’ve come across these particular earrings.

With the original screw fittings, they hang on a single link from a little silver ball, the doubled flattened silver wire opening out below to a single flower and a pair of leaves.

Linked below this is the contoured rectangular enamel faux turquoise panel set within a rope patterned outer frame.

Just a fraction below 5.5 cms. long.
