Early Egyptian Revival Real Scarabs Brooch
Item Description
Star-shaped silver brooch set with five real green scarabs forming the points of the star, and a contrasting central tiger’s eye cabochon.
Pairs of little silver balls separate each of the scarabs, which have an almost luminescent quality to their surface.
Dating from the late 1800’s this is an early Egyptian revival piece, still in excellent condition, measuring approximately 5 cm across the width.
