Cymbal Dancer
Item Description
“Danseuse aux Cymbals” is the title of this figure, one that is full of movement and energy.
The young naked girl, with just a head-dress to keep her hair in place, is dancing and playing the cymbals at the same time.
A delightful bronze, dating from around 1915, by the French artist Laurence Dupuy and signed on the socle. Also with the impressed foundry stamp.
Good dark patina and 31.5 cm high.
