Copper, Brass and Enamel Casket*
Stylish Arts & Crafts copper and brass box with a colourful enamel roundel at both front and back.
Brass is wrapped around each corner and riveted to the casket, extending to form the flared feet. Further detail is in the form of cut-outs in the brass, showing through as copper hearts.
The removable lid has a part hammered finish and a central brass handle. Dark-stained hardwood lines the interior.
There is no maker’s mark, as is so often the case, but the condition is excellent. Measurements are approximately 22 X 13.5 cm although the flared feet make it a little wider. Height to the top of the handle is around 12.5 cm.
