Item Description
Rare late Art Deco era enamelled and gilded brass pocket cigarette case that could also be used as a card case.
In the form of an unopened envelope and complete with a genuine King George VI postage stamp in the corner. Franked London with the time 8.15 pm and the year 1939.
The case, including the stamp, has been enamelled so that it is protected against wear. It looks to have never been used and is still in very good condition, shutting with a firm click.
A delightful little gem, approximately 11.5 X 8 cm and a little under 1 cm thick.
