Charles Horner Pendant
Silver Art Nouveau pendant from Charles Horner featuring a colourful double sided upright oval crafted, not in the more usual enamel, but in foiled glass.
This is framed by a sinuous wirework detail, giving a balanced and elegant look.
Marked on the back with the C.H maker’s mark and a Chester hallmark for the year 1908. Also impressed with the letters HCF which may well refer to the original retailer back in the day.
This is a design that is rarely seen as a pendant and was also used as a hat-pin.
Approximately 4.5 cm in length, including the bale, with the necklace chain measuring 49 cm.
