Charles Horner Enamelled Pendant
Silver pendant enamelled in shades of light and dark blue, the paler colour showing subtle overtones of greenish yellow.
The quatrefoil top section, enclosing a little stylised silver flower, extends downwards to a point at its base, this area being detailed with three smaller flowers and little silver dots.
Two short lengths of chain connect the pendant to a circular suspender and at the foot hangs a pear-shaped drop, both of which are enamelled in matching shades.
Marked verso with the C.H mark for Charles Horner and also with a Chester hallmark for the year 1911.
This is a good example of a Horner design that isn't often seen and measures 6.5 cm including the suspender and drop. The necklace chain is 46 cm long.
