Silver pendant necklace from Charles Horner featuring a swallow seen swooping downwards, its wings and tail fully extended.
Vividly enamelled in shades of light and dark blue with green highlights and with just the wing and tail tips and the beak left unenamelled.
Hanging on two short lengths of chain from a circular suspender in complementary colours and hallmarked on the back at Chester for the year 1911.
The merest fraction below 4.5 cm in length, including the suspender, with the necklace chain measuring approximately 46 cm long.
