Item Description
This is a good Art Nouveau bronze bust titled “Marguerite” by the French sculptor Emmanuele Villanis, dating from around 1900.
The young maiden, with a soulful, dreamlike expression is wearing sunflowers in her hair and at one shoulder. Her long hair is falling forward on one side as she turns her head.
Showing the signature of the artist at one shoulder and in very nice condition with a good all over dark brown patination. The height is 52 cm.
