Austrian Art Nouveau
Item Description
Pretty little ceramic vase from Austria dating from around 1890. Pink and white flowers in relief on both sides of the swollen base with a sepal and petal design around the slightly flared rim. The twin handles are shaped and decorated as the supporting flower stems.
There are a few small chips to the glaze and a little touching up to the colour has been done at some stage, but this is not surprising in view of the age and it still looks very attractive on display.
The height is a little over 24 cm.
