Arts & Crafts Silver Pendant attr. to the Gaskins*
Item Description
English Arts & Crafts silver pendant that, although unmarked, is surely from the workshop of Arthur and Georgie Gaskin.
Beautifully crafted in openwork style with curving silver wirework and tiny leaves that are so typically Gaskin, together with little silver balls within a milled surround.
In the centre is a fine circular moonstone with another, teardrop shaped, set in the main central drop which also features a little pearl.
Three small turquoise stones add just the right amount of colour, one set immediately below the silver bale and the other two in the drops at each side.
Measuring a little over 6 cm in length including the bale.
The necklace chain, which has a barrel type clasp, is approximately 38 cm long.
