Arts & Crafts Silver Brooch Pendant with Assorted Stones*
Item Description
English Arts & Crafts silver brooch pendant with an openwork design, set with assorted coloured stones.
A rounded square outline turned on to one corner and with a gently contoured shape and raised centre.
The collet set paste stones are a mix of round, square and triangular and are all en cabochon apart from the larger central stone which is subtly shaped.
A pin is fixed for wearing as a brooch if desired and the chain is easily removed for this purpose.
No marks but very Sibyl Dunlop in style and quite probably by that maker.
Dating from circa 1920’s and 5.5 cm in length including the bale. The necklace chain, which has a barrel type fastener, is 44 cm long.
