Art Nouveau Pendant by Tandy
Item Description
Art Nouveau silver pendant, enamelled in shades of orange and silvery white, made by the Birmingham silversmiths W.H. Tandy & Sons with a Chester hallmark for the year 1909.
The enamelled hammered silver panel has a shaped outline and overlays a partial framework detail of silver wirework.
A teardrop-shaped mother-of-pearl drop set inside a silver mount is suspended below.
Showing the maker’s mark and hallmark on the back and measuring 5.5 cm long including the bale and drop.
The silver necklace chain is 46 cm in length.
