Art Nouveau Iris Flower Pendant*
Quite delightful Art Nouveau silver pendant in the form of an iris flower and leaves.
Three-dimensional and enamelled in various shades of blue with subtle orange and yellow highlights, the realistic petals of the flower stand proud of the strappy green and yellow leaves sinuously curving behind.
At the foot hangs a spendidly mis-shapen Mississippi pearl which balances the pendant perfectly.
Circa early 1900’s, with no marks apparent but thought to be English in origin.
The length is 4 cm including the pearl drop, with the silver necklace chain measuring a little over 40 cm.
