Art Nouveau Goldscheider*
Item Description
Charming and rare mid-sized terracotta bust from Goldscheider of a young girl wearing flowers of Lily-of-the-Valley. She also has flowers in her hair and a small bonnet on her head.
A lovely old piece of Art Nouveau in sound condition with a just few age related marks to the finish. We have left her as we found her but it is possible that she would benefit from a light clean – there are always two schools of thought on these matters.
Model number 2471, which we are unable to find listed in either of our reference books, and with the impressed initial C. This is probably for the artist Cherc.
A Goldscheider bust offered at a very reasonable price. Around 30 cm in height.
