Art Nouveau Gold, Amethyst & Seed Pearl Pendant Necklace
Item Description
Beautifully made English Art Nouveau 15 ct. gold pendant necklace set with amethysts and seed pearls.
Open in style, with a complex outline that curves and weaves its way all round a teardrop shaped amethyst suspended in the centre.
The sinuous frame is set with many seed pearls which contrast effectively with the strong colour of the stones and the gold itself.
The main pendant hangs on two short lengths of chain from a central suspender, also set with small pearls, and is completed with a smaller teardrop shaped amethyst drop.
The fine chainwork is original throughout and adds to the overall elegance of this fine necklace.
Marked 15 ct. on the back and just a tiny fraction below 6 cm in length, including the suspender and drop, with the necklace chain measuring approximately 40 cm.
