Art Nouveau Ceramic Photo Frame*
Wonderful original Art Nouveau ceramic photograph frame with a distinctly Liberty look about it.
With a shaped outline and a raised design of stylised flowers and leaves resembling tulips or perhaps lilies.
Hand painted and glazed, with a good width edge circling the frame at right angles, also in the same shade of blue as the background colour to the face.
Indistinctly signed on the reverse and showing the date Feb. 1903.
There is a hole in each edge at the side for cord to be attached ready for wall hanging.
The height is around 30 cm and the maximum width 25.5 cm. The glazed circular aperture has a diameter of approximately 10 cm.
