Art Nouveau Brooch by Charles Horner*
Item Description
Pretty Art Nouveau silver and enamel brooch from Charles Horner of Halifax.
Oval in shape but with the top part having an openwork feature of linked tendrils. Two beautifully enamelled individually shaped panels add colour and vibrancy. The darker blue patch showing in the photos is reflection only and is not apparent ‘in the flesh’.
Crisply hallmarked for Chester 1909 and with a replacement fastener. The brooch measures a touch under 3 cm wide.
