Art Deco Panther Bookends*
Great pair of spelter panther bookends, unmarked but very Le Verrier in style and execution.
Patinated in green and brown, they are larger than most and mounted on Portoro marble bases.
The animals are depicted stealthily climbing rocky terrain and have that lean and powerful look that is so typically Art Deco.
Early 1930’s and in very good condition with just a couple of minor nibbles to the marble.
Length is around 23.5 cm, width 8.5 and height a touch over 7 cm.
