Art Deco Odeonesque Brooch
Item Description
Striking Art Deco silver brooch in the odenesque style combining marcasites and baguette cut clear glass stones.
Basically triangular in shape and very Deco looking, the top part of the outline rising to feature the glass in an almost skyscraper design.
Slightly convex, allowing the light to catch the surface more readily and therefore yield rather more sparkle than would be the case were it to be simply flat.
Unmarked but in all probability French and dating from circa 1925.
A good size at just under 6.5 cm in width.
