Art Deco Gold and Ruby Brooch
Item Description
Brooch in a combination of yellow and rose gold dating from the Art Deco era and very much in the favoured style of the times.
Basically oval in outline and open in design with the central chevron pattern set with three little faceted rubies.
The columnar ends oppose each other and all the gold shows a finely textured finish.
Showing a maker’s mark of AW on the reverse but we’ve ben unable to discover who this refers to. Alo impressed 9 ct.
The width is 3 cms.
