Art Deco Brooch by Theodor Fahrner*
Item Description
Striking Art Deco brooch by Theodor Fahrner dating from the early 1920’s.
Made of 935 silver, with a diamond shaped faceted smoky quartz stone in the centre and detailed with a geometric design set with marcasites.
Just the right amount of colour is added by including in the design clusters of coral and amazonite cabochons offset on each side of the central stone.
Beautifully made, as one would expect from Fahrner, and measuring just a touch over 6.5 cm wide.
Marked on the reverse TF 935.
