Art Deco Bronze Dinner Gong by Loys of Paris*
French Art Deco dinner gong cast in bronze circa 1930 by Maison Loys in Paris.
Standing on a stepped base, the gong is circular, suspended inside a hoop and displays a dinanderie design of two angel fish swimmimg amongst pondweed against a dark green watery background.
Quite beautifully cast with fine detail to all areas of the image.
Marked with the maker’s mark on the back and with what appears to be a replacement striker which sits neatly in a cradle on top.
The overall height with the striker cradled in position is a touch under 30 cm.
