Arts & Crafts Silver and Enamel Cross with Assorted Stones*
Item Description
Ornate and quite beautifully crafted silver cross pendant with an openwork design, detailed with black and white enamel.
Set with foil backed pink paste stones, four emeralds and split pearls, the pendant also shows a filigree detail in silver.
Three freshwater pearls are suspended below the foot and the arms of the cross, the whole effect being visually extremely pleasing.
Circa 1900 and a good size, measuring 8.25 cms. long including the bale and the central drop, by 5.5 cms wide.
The silver chain has a length of 47 cms.
