American Art Nouveau Silver Brooch*
Item Description
Striking Art Nouveau silver brooch made by the American jewellery makers Fishel Nessler & Co of New York.
Dating from circa 1905-10, there’s more than a suggestion of Secessionist influence also, with the young woman looking straight ahead and with her long tresses sweeping all around her.
Finely detailed and a strong image, this brooch is a little over 4 cm wide and shows the Fishel Nessler mark on the back.
