Marble bust of a young maiden by the Italian sculptor Adolfo Cipriani who was artistically active between approximately 1880 and 1930.
She is modelled with her head turned slightly to her left, in a modest pose, with eyes slightly lowered.
Fashioned from a two-tone light coloured marble combined with a subtly contrasting type of marble used for her head scarf.
