1920’s Stocking Girl
Item Description
Original watercolour dated 1924 of an attractive young lady putting on her stockings and shoes. She's sitting on the edge of her bed and happily returning the gaze of the viewer.
Cleverly painted using a minimum of colour, this is a rather nice, light-hearted piece of Art Deco artwork. It is inscribed and signed but we are unable to decipher the signature.
It looks to have been reframed and glazed fairly recently. Size, including the frame is around 42 X 32 cm with the image only approx. 26.5 X 16.5 cm.
