Arts & Crafts sterling silver brooch set with a central aquamarine, garnets and amethysts.
The brooch has a diamond-shaped outline with an openwork design of linked stems, leaves and flowers. All the stones are facetted and the colour combination is very effective.
Marked Sterling on the reverse and with the maker’s mark for Zoltan White, about whom little is known other than that he was apprenticed in Budapest before establishing his jewellery workshop in this country sometime in the early part of the 20th. century.
