WMF Biscuit Jar
Item Description
Shaped glass biscuit jar with an etched and enamelled design feature and silver plated rim, handle and lid.
We’ve never previously come across any products from WMF showing enamelling so this is probably a rare item.
The clear glass displays an almost triangular abstract pattern on front and back, which encloses an upright pointed oval enamelled with blue and yellow dots.
With a removable lid and an arched handle that divides into two parts as it sweeps upwards, meeting at the top with an elegant central motif designed for comfort when carrying.
Showing WMF marks on the silver-plated rim and dating from around 1910. Approximately 17.5 cm high.
