WMF Art Deco Necklace
Very collectable Art Deco necklace from the German firm of WMF (abbreviation of Württembergische Mettalwarenfabrik) in their Myra Kristall iridescent glass beads, dating from circa late 1920's to early 30's.
Comprising six 1.4 cm diameter beads, each separated by a four ringed metal spacer and on the original necklace chain.
Showing strong shades of blue and blackcurrent with subtle honey colours in the background, the colours at any one time being dependent on a combintion of the light source and even the angle at which they are being looked at.
The necklace is 46 cm long overall, with the row of six beads and spacers measuring 10 cm in length.
