Violets from Légras/Montjoye
Item Description
Tall vase made from colourless glass, beautifully enamelled with flowers and leaves of violets.
Made around 1910 by the Auguste Légras glassworks, which was based in both Saint Denis and Pantin, as part of their MontJoye range. It is unsigned as is quite usual, but a very similar vase can be found on page 209 of the book Légras Verrier.
With a height of 35.5 cm, this good-size vase displays particularly well under illumination.
