Victorian Gold Necklace with Assorted Gemstones*
Elegant necklace in 15 ct. gold with a somewhat Arts & Crafts look.
Dating from circa 1900 or perhaps a little earlier, it features five extended drops suspended below an arrangement of openwork circles, the top three of which have a stylised floral design, each flower being set in the centre with a tiny amethyst.
Just below the middle flower, another larger stone is set which is believed to be a topaz. Three further topaz stones, including the central blue topaz, together with a pair of garnets, are all set at the foot of the drops.
