Tree-Climbing Panther*
Item Description
Green patinated spelter panther unusually modelled climbing a tree, signed by the noted French sculptor M. Leducq.
A very tactile piece which is occasionally found as a larger version with the addition of two small cubs playing beneath the tree. This, however, is a much more manageable size, the marble base measuring 40 X 16 cm., with the panther overhanging the right-hand side as you look by a further 15 cm. or so. The height is approx. 43 cm.
