Very tall cameo vase from Gallé.
Colourless glass with the interior partially tinted opalescent yellow and creamy white. The outside is decorated with an acid-etched design of hanging blossoms and leaves of wisteria in a deep violet colour. The rounded foot graduates to a slightly darker shade still.
Huge size at 61 cm tall with the diameter of the base approaching 19cm.
Super condition with the Gallé signature in cameo low down on the vase which dates from around 1910.
