Sterling silver gilt and enamel brooch by the Norwegian silversmith and jeweller David Andersen.
Designed by Thorbjørn Lie-Jørensen in the 1950’s, these brooches were enamelled in four different colourways to represent the changing colours of the four seasons, and resemble a stylised aerial view of a rural landscape.
This mainly blue one is for spring and measures a fraction below 4.5 wide.
Fitted with a rollover type fastener and clearly marked on the back.
